ISA changes

Changes to ISA limits from 6 October 2009

From 6 October 2009 anyone who is eligible to contribute to an ISA and who will be aged 50 or over by 5 April 2010 can take advantage of an increase in the ISA allowance from £7,200 to £10,200.

Up to £5,100 of the allowance can be invested in cash, however you should be aware that Gartmore does not offer a Cash ISA.

From 6 April 2010, the increased limit of £10,200 will be available to all ISA investors.

It's important to remember that ISA limits are subject to government legislation and may change again in the future.
