The notice below allows existing investors to opt out of receiving marketing material from Gartmore. If you are applying as a new investor with Gartmore you have the opportunity to opt out on the application form. Please note that if you do so we will not be able to inform you of any special offers.

Data Protection Notice

Gartmore Investment Limited, Gartmore Fund Managers Limited and their group companies ("Gartmore") will use your personal details and information we obtain from other sources to provide you with our products and services, for administration and customer services, for research, for anti-money laundering checks, for marketing, to analyse your purchasing preferences and to ensure that the content, services and advertising that we offer are tailored to your needs and interests. We may keep your information for a reasonable period for these purposes. We may need to share your information with our service providers and agents for these purposes e.g. where you have applied for investment products. Where you have applied for an investment through a financial adviser we may disclose information concerning your investment in these products to that financial adviser.

In assessing your application for an investment product, to prevent fraud, to check your identity and to prevent money laundering, Gartmore may search the files of credit reference agencies. We may also disclose details of how you conduct your account to such agencies. The information will be used for fraud prevention, money laundering prevention and occasionally for tracing debtors. Information used for these purposes will include publicly available information such as electoral roll, county court judgments, bankruptcy orders or repossessions.

We may contact you by mail, telephone, fax, e-mail or other electronic messaging service with offers of goods and services or information that may be of interest to you for our products. By providing us with your fax number, telephone numbers or email address you consent to being contacted by these methods for these purposes.

By providing us with your personal information, you consent to our processing your sensitive personal data for the above purposes. You also consent to our transferring your information to countries or jurisdictions which do not provide the same level of data protection as the UK, if appropriate for the above purposes. What are Cookies and how are they used on our website?
